Maria Terry Nutrition + Wellness
Let’s set the scene.
Meet Maria, founder and lead dietitian at Maria Terry Nutrition + Wellness, a nutrition coaching company that helps clients remotely as well as in-person in New Orleans. When Maria reached out to me, her company was already thriving and growing fast.
Maria already had a devoted online following, had maxed out her 1:1 coaching offerings and was growing a team of dietitians, and was selling out the group cohorts she created to provide an even more accessible offering. Her clients' health and relationships to food and exercise were being transformed for the better and her practice was on a fast upward trajectory.
Maria has always had extremely high standards for the quality and accessibility of the coaching that her clients receive and she very quickly realized that the coaching platform that had worked so well for building her 1:1 practice simply couldn't deliver group coaching programs at the quality her clients deserved.
The systems that supported Maria’s success couldn’t grow with her.
To bridge the gap between what her systems could do and what she was determined to offer her clients, Maria was spending hours every week on manual group coaching communications - responding to inquiries, sending follow-up questions to ensure participants were a fit for the group, drafting weekly updates, answering program questions, and troubleshooting broken links.
To Maria, it is essential that every client feels seen and so she found it hard to close her laptop at the end of the day, always worried that she had missed an email and that someone felt forgotten.
“I consider myself a really big vision person and i'm really not great with the small pieces and that's why I needed Breanna the most.”
Maria is strategic and tech-savvy and undoubtedly could have built a fantastic system herself. That exact strategic thinking is what made it clear to her that the best use of her money was to outsource her systems and operations to buy back her time.
Maria knew that hours spent on manual communications or on building out operations were stunting her practice's impact and growth. The hours invested into operations couldn’t be spent on her highest-impact activities: expanding the nutrition education in her programs, writing her next group program, engaging new markets with her content, and growing her team of dietitians in order to skyrocket her practice's reach and quality of care.
That's why she reached out to me.
In our strategy calls, Maria laid out her biggest dreams for highly intentional application, onboarding, student care, offboarding, and follow-up in her group coaching programs.
“I needed someone to connect my big ideas to the actual tangible steps that bring those ideas to life.”
My team translated her values into airtight systems that spoke her language with all her personality while efficiently shepherding prospective clients into and through her programs.
Maria's bespoke, set-it-and-forget it group coaching system runs on its own. Rather than her business back-end requiring hours of her time each week, she gets to zero in on the elements of her practice that actually need her unique brain and perspective.
“With a really clear system built by a professional, I am getting not only everything I need but everything my clients need, too.”
Today, rather than drowning in the back-end of her business, Maria’s time is spent creating engaging materials that educate and provide care to the students in her programs, making the large-scale decisions that require her wisdom and experience, and investing into her team of dietitians so that the care her practice can offer expands exponentially.
“As someone who has really big ideas and big plans, hiring someone like Breanna is going to revolutionize your business.”
